In 2003, Fiona Stewart was prescribed acne medication which resulted in extremely sensitive skin & thinning hair. Fiona’s dermatologist suggested sleeping on a silk pillowcase to reduce irritation and hair breakage. However, she quickly discovered that such a product was nearly impossible to find. Driven by determination and curiosity, Fiona sourced the finest silk she could find and crafted her own solution. The results were immediate and transformative. She had triggered the resurgence of a long-forgotten beauty secret, taking the first step in becoming the pioneer she is today.

 

In 2004 Fiona, alongside partner Justin Dubois, officially launched Slip, creating the first silk pillowcase to be branded and marketed as a beauty product. Slip has now become the world’s most coveted silk brand designed for real benefits for skin and hair.

Zodiac Event, New York

To celebrate the launch of the Zodiac collection, Slip and CGC hosted influencers and press at Nubeluz rooftop lounge of the Ritz Carlton-Nomad. Attendees included a mix of influencers, makeup artists, hairstylists and press. Guests were given the opportunity to have an intuitive tarot card reading by renowned psychics and astrologers.

Slip hosted an evening cocktail event at the Flute Rooftop Bar at Soho Broadwick in London. The venue was the perfect backdrop to celebrate the launch of the new Zodiac Eye Mask collection and to create press and social buzz around the launch. The attendees included a range of key press, influencer and opinion leaders in the industry.

Guests were welcomed by a range of zodiac element themed cocktails and light bites, and throughout the evening had a chance to have an intuitive tarot card reading with Emily Halil and personalised zodiac eyemasks. Guests had the chance to also meet Fi Stewart the founder of Slip on the evening.
