Glossier, Inc. was founded in 2014 on the belief that beauty isn’t built in a boardroom — it happens when you’re a part of the process. Glossier is a new approach to beauty. It’s about fun and freedom and being OK with yourself today. We make intuitive, uncomplicated products designed to live with you.
When you look good, you feel good.
Beauty inspired by real life.
To mark the fifth anniversary of the Black Beauty Grant Programme, CGC proudly partnered with BGF to host a vibrant and meaningful graduation celebration — an event that honoured not only the 2025 cohort but also the legacy and impact of the programme over the past three years in the the UK (five in the US).
The celebration began with a private lunch held at London’s hotspot, Bottarga. Hosted by Glossier and BGF, this gathering provided an intimate moment for the grantees and teams to connect IRL.
Held at the Glossier flagship store in Covent Garden, the evening event brought together a diverse and dynamic guest list. In attendance were key opinion leaders, members of press, influencers as well as the grantees from both the 2023 and 2024 cohorts. The evening served as both a celebration and a moment of reflection — highlighting the growth, creativity, and resilience of Black beauty entrepreneurs supported through the grant over the years.
The evening’s celebration featured a thought-provoking panel discussion, moderated by Nicole Crentsil, with the discussion spotlighting the 2025 cohort. This provided the grantees with space to share their personal reflections on their journeys, achievements, and the role the BGF initiative has played in their professional development.
In celebration of Glossier’s Black Cherry capsule collection CGC hosted the influencer community at Stockwell Studios, bringing the range to life with a fermented shrub making workshop and breakfast with cook and supper club host, Xanthe Ross.
Located at the heart of historic Regent Street, Glossier’s latest experience was an invitation into fragrance discovery. Inspired by their best selling Glossier YOU Eau de Parfum, the pop-up invited the public into an immersive, deconstructed world of their signature scent, through the conceptual lens of the five senses. CGC invited press and influencers to the launch.
To celebrate of the launch of Lip Line, Glossier collaborated with British intimates brand, Cou Cou, to immerse press and influence into the inspiration behind the shade range.
Hosted at Invisible Collection Marylebone, an intimate press preview with ambassador Celia Burton was followed by influencer community cocktails. Each guest received shade matching and a bespoke intimates set to ensure a tailored approach to gifting.
Glossier Founder, Emily Weiss, and CEO, Kyle Leahy, hosted an intimate tastemaker lunch at the newly opened Broadwick Soho, celebrating the Realms Of You Pop Up with two of Glossier's all-female c-suite.
